Ultrasound Cavitation
Cavitation Body Contouring Treatment History
The use of ultrasonic waves to break up cellulite deposits is a relatively new technology. The first non-surgical liposuction device received FDA approval in 2010.
The Ultrasound Cavitation Treatment Process
Lipo cavitation also targets fat deposits, but the procedure is non-invasive and has virtually no side effects or recovery time.
Lipo cavitation uses ultrasound—sound waves—to break up fat cells stubbornly clinging below the skin. The fat cell membrane is disintegrated, and the body’s natural detoxifying processes take care of the rest. The ultrasound frequency used only affects fat cells, so no other tissues are damaged during treatment.
What To Expect During Body Contouring Treatment
Taime Out makes body contouring treatment as luxurious as any of our services. We make you comfortable and take the time to ensure you understand the procedure, which takes about an hour, and after-care instruction (you’ll receive a written copy).
The week following your lipo cavitation treatment will reveal amazing results as your body rids itself of excess fat. For best results, you should undergo a series of 12 to 16 sessions (one- two session per week). The number of sessions depends on client goals as well as other factors, including overall health, genetics and diet.
Your therapist may recommend other products that can help tone and tighten skin over the treated areas for even more dramatic contouring results.
Benefits Of Ultrasound Cavitation Treatment
Lipo cavitation offers a number of esthetic benefits, including:
- Reduced fat in problem areas (most commonly targeting cellulite and loose skin on hips, thighs, buttocks, tummy and arms)
- Tightened and toned skin
- Improve metabolism
Because ultrasound cavitation is a non-invasive procedure, clients do not experience the risks or pain associated with surgery or require extensive recovery time. You will see results after each treatment session.
