Binding Method

Binding

The Taime Out Binding method uses special self adhesive glue-free sports tape to reduce your natural waist size, lift your heavy loose skin, and accentuate your curves.

History of Binding

While everyone is familiar with binding in Egyptian forms of mummification, waist training and skin lifting via binding have been around for centuries. It was the wife of King Henry II of France, Catherine De’Menici, who introduced binding during the 16th century. She banned thick and unsightly waists at court forcing women to find slimming solutions.

Women started wearing “stays” as a first attempt to control their waists. During the 19th century, these developed into full-blown wrapped binding.

How does it help?

Many women bind because they want an hourglass figure. This shape is thought to be the most proportioned and flattering a woman can have. Binding helps achieve an hourglass shape by cinching your waist and accentuating the curves of your hips and bustline.

Binding also assists with lifting heavy lower abdominal skin, providing supplemental help for a clients lymphatic system. This technique is great for internal or external lymph drainage. It’s also perfect to use if your faja has become too loose.

Benefits include:

  • controls appetite
  • Improves posture
  • Postpartum waist training
  • Bustline support
  • Shrinks waistline
  • Doesn’t constrict movement or circulation
  • Can be worn during workouts (they’re waterproof)
  • Burns fat by helping raising your core body temperature

How long to leave it on

We suggest for our clients to wear the self adhesive binding for anywhere from 8-24hrs. It is not reusable and will need to be cut off gently and safely. While it is similar to Yesotherapy, it isnt as constructive, allowing for a wider range of motion. It is also waterproof, durable, and easy to remove.
